主要研究工作包括:1) 高效生物催化元件的靶向挖掘和快速表征,2) 新功能生物催化剂的改造策略和分子设计,3) 系统生物催化合成手性中间体和天然产物,4) 计算化学解析酶反应的催化历程和选择性起源等。面向本科生讲授《生物催化与手性技术》和《分子生物学》等课程,指导多名学生参加大学生挑战杯和生命科学竞赛等项目。近五年,主要参与指导学生在J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Catal., Chem. Eng. J., Chem. Commun.等期刊发表SCI论文30余篇,其中15篇IF>5,累计影响因子>150,他引次数>500;主持和参与多项国家及江苏省自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划和企业横向课题。获得教育部高等教育科技进步二等奖和中国石油化学工业联合会等省部级及行业协会奖励2项。
